Barking dog late at night - The Maltings
- Locke Road resident (6th Jul 2022  11:17:57)

To the owner of the dog who barks late into the night, please can you do something about this. My two young children have been woken up numerous times in the last couple of weeks as the dog has been let out at various times between 10:15pm and midnight. I would happily knock on their door myself and have a word but due to the layout of the houses/ gardens it's impossible to tell which house it is. Believe it's one of the ones in The Maltings near Wykwood. In this warm weather with the windows open it's incredibly loud and I've even been woken up with the windows closed and wearing earplugs!

Today has been awful. Is anyone else bothered by this?

Hi,
Inform E.H.D.C. they can deploy sound equipment locally. They will identify the nuisance, and take appropriate legal action where necessary.

It is not in The Maltings. It's new residents in Wykewood. Wakes me around seven most mornings!

I don’t think it is the new residents. Still think it’s The Maltings. House with two dogs?

I live in Erles Road.

Was just about to say I've not heard any barking dogs - when one started !

Not sure it is in our road though.

Hi,

Surely the offending dog of noise nuisance to local residents, is the animal at fault, or the owners? The dog does not know street names to own-up.

Sounds like a turf-war of blame of local residency.
Think of the unhappy animal maybe...

Believe me Paul, I do not blame the dog! Owners are responsible.
