Garden waste collection - Chris (12th Jul 2022 17:31:11)
Has anyone had any success in having their garden waste bin/sack collected in the Liphook/ Passfield areas since the end of May 2022?
My bin has been sat full at the roadside since it was last emptied at the end of May but unless you tell EHDC by 4pm the following day they do nothing. Considering this service isn't free I'm not sure why I have to police EHDC waste & recycling failings to them.
Some people actually have to work and complete the job they're paid for and so may not be around to tell EHDC something they should already know. I've complained to the council using the appropriate channel but they haven't responded.
My only course of action now is to hire a private waste transfer contractor and try and pursue the council for reimbursement of the cost and the initial fee I paid to them.

Hi I am in Passfield and my garden waste has been emptied all of June but not today......calling EHDC tomorrow!
EHDC announced today that there will be no garden waste collection this week due to lack of staff and the service will not resume until the next scheduled collection date.
