Recycling Bin Collection

Late last week the East Hants District Council web site urged us to put our bins out the day before collection as the collections would be starting at 6.00 a.m. due to the anticipated high temperatures expected this week.
Our bins were usually collected by about 7.30.a.m. It is now 13.30 p.m. and still no collection despite the fact that temperatures have dropped back by 10 to 12 degrees.
What is happening ?

Yes I was thinking the same thing Paul... still not collected at nearly 3pm...
I've noted that the website is saying we aren't going to get our glass collected this week at all, but they'll try and collect the green waste from last week...

Mine collected at 07:45 today, no problem at all.

Out of interest , where in Liphook do you live? None of the bins I have passed when out have been collected , including the garden waste from last week.
The worry is of course that with all the planned road closures in the village centre we will be missed next week completely .
Today though- I have not seen one refuse bin at all, and have received no update from the council either, so currently what’s going on is anyones guess.

Afternoon, we are in Passfield, recycling collected bright and early today.
Out of interest what road closures next week in Liphook please?

Station Road, Longmoor Road and Haslemere Road, though walking back from the cinema tonight I notice the Longmoor Road closure is for one night, so maybe they’re all night closures.

Tunbridge Crescent collected at 0745 (Recycling)
Still no collection on Brown bin from last week though
