Camper vans multiplying
- Paul (27th Aug 2022  13:40:20)

Has anyone else noticed camper vans appearing around the village?

2 appeared in Sainsburys car park in June, 1 of which has been moved to the delivery area near Sainsburys. I’ve seen someone going in and out of it - I think they are living there?

Others stay for a few days in odd places. One just moved and is parked in the entrance to the old Zurich building.

Is someone running a business and parking up in public places? Or is someone renting these out as accommodation (I think it’s this, from what I’ve seen).

Probably just people who live in vans parking up for a couple of days.

Yes there is one now on the green in Malthouse Meadows along with two large horse trucks and some smaller vehicles. Perhaps this is now a parking area for privately owned vehicles.

I too have notice RV parking on green in Malthouse Meadows, the horse vehicles are an eyesore, not even sure if someone living in them. I believe reported but nothing done about it.
