Printing cinema tickets
- Mary W (7th Nov 2022  17:24:43)

I have had no problem printing 2 tickets for the Living Room Cinema films, but I have just ordered 4 and I can find no way of printing them satisfactorily, as they are too big to go on one sheet of A4 and I can’t see how to allocate 2 to each sheet. Has anyone else had difficulty?

Also, when booking for 2 members plus their two guests, I can see no way to get the correct discounts for two guests.

I am booking them together so that we are sure to get adjoining seats.

I have tried to get an answer from the management, but no replies and weather too awful to go in personally to try and sort it out.

Try changing paper size on printer and click zoom to fit

Hi Mary,
There has been an issueof "printing tickets" since day one of opening the Cinema sadly.
I would buy tickets on arrival of your day (never seems that busy, or anyone checking if have a correct admission.

Good luck.

Or, if you have a smart phone, just show them on the phone screen. Also saves on your printer inks!

Hi, Jen,

I normally do put tickets on my smartphone, although I sometimes have issues accessing them in the Living Room - maybe it is a black spot or something.

But the most irritating thing is when I am booking online for another member plus another person, who should get a discounted ticket. I can see no way to get that discount online. They don’t answer emails, and I haven’t time to ring and have a difficult conversation with someone who is probably not going to understand the problem. They are always busy serving drinks etc or with a lot of background noise.

I expect it is my error, but I wanted to see if anyone else has succeeded in booking for two members and a guest online and getting the discount.

Hi,
I find the easiest way of booking tickets is pop-in to the cinema in advance if passing.
You can go to their booking desk order, pay, and get any discounts if qualified. They will also print tickets on payment.

You are right, Paul, and much as I like to encourage everyone to be a little bit forward thinking when it comes to technology, it certainly isn’t working at the Living Room.

They don’t even have a wifi connection for patrons, which may be why, when I go into the foyer and try to access the tickets I’ve purchased online, I am unable to bring them up on my iPhone.

I am able to store tickets from all the theatres and from Everyman…

I love our cinema, I am totally behind them, but these little niggles really do have to be addressed.

Maybe if you screenshot the tickets you won't need WiFi at the venue. If you speak to the cinema I'm sure they can advise you about discounts but it shouldn't matter too much if the tickets come out on more than one page, bit unsightly I agree but I'm sure they'll be ok, I wonder if they'll have you logged into the system anyway it's not a big venue, we've always found them very helpful and nice so I'm sure they'll want to help if they can.

Mary
I completely agree with you.
No phone number available . No response to emails just a standard reply to ‘pop in’. Surely not everyone planning to go will be local so that’s not going to work.
I’m fully behind the cinema and want it to be a success but would certainly like better customer service.
