Coronation Bunting - Pauline (12th Mar 2023 12:10:23)
Our first "Bunting Day" yesterday was a great success with lots of volunteers coming along to help. Many thanks to everyone who participated.
We have another two sessions booked Tuesday 21st March and Tuesday 28th March in The Canada Room ( much bigger room so we can spread out) 1.00 - 4.00. Please come along if you can (your payment will be tea/coffee, cake, and chat)
Donations or red, white, blue material (plain or patterned) would be much appreciated too.
We will set up a system where people can do different tasks (no sewing skills needed)
Unpicking donated material as required
Using tailor's chalk to mark the fabric ready for cutting (templates will be available)
Cutting up fabric using Pinking scissors
Adding the tape to the bunting
Folding the bunting into boxes.
