Poppy Display - Liphook in Bloom (30th Oct 2023 14:29:08)
Liphook in Bloom are once again remember the fallen of our Parish with another display in the large Millennium flower bed opposite Sainsbury’s.
This year we mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.
Just a reminder that the number of poppies represents each of the fallen in WW1, WW2 and subsequent conflicts.

Absolutely lovely. Lets hope it encourages people to donate and wear a traditional poppy with pride rather than just post a picture of one on their social media.
